Failure to Capture and Sense example two



Dual chamber pacing, DDD mode, with problems: after six successfully paced beats, the pacer fails to capture the ventricles.  A native beat follows, which is not sensed.  In the next several sets of pacer stimuli, three fail to capture the ventricles, and more failures to sense native beats occur.  Also note that there is one instance of failure to capture the atria: where the second failure to capture the ventricles occurs, there is no P-wave following the atrial spike.
