Asystole



We see here the absence of electrical activity, excepting the P-waves seen in the first part of this strip.
Midway through, even these come to an end.  No electrical activity of course means no mechanical
activity - and this means death.  Asystole must be read in more than one lead to be confirmed, and
proper lead connection is also needed.  Loose wires can give the appearance of asystole on the monitor.
