Atrial Fibrillation example two

This strip shows atrial fibrillation with slow ventricular response (the
ventricular rate is in the 70s).  Typically, a slow ventricular response is the
result of medication given to regulate a rapid rate, but if seen without these
meds, the slow response is indicative of AV nodal dysfunction.   Note the
irregular baseline: this is coarse atrial fibrillation. Coarse fibrillation
produces measurable voltages which are seen on the EKG as a rapidly and
randomly fluctuating baseline.  Fine atrial fibrillation has an almost flat
baseline.  Also note the prolonged QRS duration (0.12 seconds) and the QRS
shape.  This duration and shape indicate a right bundle branch block.
